Bowie vs. Barong
Two great machetes. One is weighted for maximum speed and agility, the other for more power. I convexed both on a belt sander 80, 240, 400, 600 and made them shaving sharp before this comparison. It made a huge difference in their performance, but on hardwood or a few more 2×4’s, this edge would be quite dull.
Cold Steel Kukri Machete Review HD
Specs: Weight: 16 oz. Thickness: 2.75mm Blade: 13 Inches Overall: 18 Inches Handle: Polypropylene Buy this! For real, great deal! Cheap and effective! Beast mode guaranteed. Only problems I have: 1) Blade is sorta thin, not the best for batoning wood, but it still works fine 2) Soft metal blade. I understand the need for a knife that can take repeated blows and not crack or chip, but this metal doesn’t have enough rigidity to hold something like a razors edge. 3) Polypropylene checkers cause massive blisters after long periods of use. Wear gloves and/or paracord wrap it. THANKS FOR WATCHING SUBSCRIBE RATE ALL THAT GOOD STUFF MORE TO COME
