I understand the need for a knife that can take repeated blows and not crack or chip, but this metal doesn’t have enough rigidity to hold something like a razors edge. 3) Polypropylene checkers cause massive blisters after long periods of use. Wear gloves and/or paracord wrap it. Cold Steel Panga machete. 1055 spring steel. This machete is easy to sharpen, but dulls quickly. The blade, however, is nearly indestructible. This machete is cheaper than most of the other cold steel machetes.
