More subtle differences among Cold Steel machetes

Author: I noticed one more thing that differentiates the Cold Steel machetes made in China, and the ones made in South Africa. The Chinese machetes have much thicker steel. The Bowie and Barong machetes come from china, and so have thicker spines, and softer handles. The latin, and kukri machetes come from South Africa, so you can swing them faster. It seems that Cold Steel makes the Bowie and Barong machetes as a way for consumers to get a weapon at a more affordable price. The Bowie machete is quite elaborate in that it has a sharpened clip.
